As the Chief Editor of Business Edge, Vanaja Banagiri brings over three decades of rich experience in Indian journalism, storytelling, and strategic communication.
A seasoned editor and author, she is known for her sharp editorial vision, deep narrative instinct, and ability to capture the spirit of enterprise and human ambition.
A former Editor of The Hyderabad Times, Vanaja is an established voice in contemporary Indian literature. Her debut novel, Butterflies and Barbed Wires, topped the national bestseller charts for ten consecutive weeks and cemented her place among India’s finest storytellers. She has authored six books so far — two novels, an anthology on the History of Hyderabad, two family chronicles commissioned by one of India’s most reputed business families, and Business Chronicles featuring leading infrastructure enterprises.
In a distinguished career spanning India’s top publications — The Economic Times (Response), The Times of India, Sunday Observer, Society, Femina, Southscope, and Channel 6 — Vanaja has profiled some of the country’s most well-known statesmen, cinema icons, and business leaders.

Edge & Essence, a digital lifestyle magazine, and the award-winning author of Echoes. Certified in Resilience Management and a Success Coach, Ajuli empowers individuals to build confidence and leadership. She also serves in leadership roles with WICCI, WLF, IWPG, Lean2Lead, and Mother’s Army. Her mission is clear: to create ecosystems where people thrive, women rise, and stories transform lives.
Aniruddh Sam – Branding & Podcasts
Aniruddh Sam takes the lead in our Podcast division, besides being responsible for brand identity, positioning, and communications at Business Edge. With a parallel career in films (Yashoda, Malli Kaluddaam, Abhyantaram Ent, Raju Gari Kidnap, Kaadal Kahaani, to name a few) and modelling, he brings creativity, charisma, and storytelling expertise to the platform.
